The Shelby County Iowa State Extension office has been busy as of late. With
most of the fairs winding down, the ISU Extension is focusing on some late
summer events. Kate Olsen, program coordinator, talked about a few of the events
coming up. One is a big meeting, “Coming up on…nice job presenting that.” As
Kate explains, you need to pre-register for the meeting, “We do like… per

Gardener program. “We are offering it again… stuff like that.” Kate talked about
the purpose of the Master Gardener program, “The whole purpose…give knowledge
back to the communities.” You must pre-register for both the meeting and the
Master Gardener program by calling the ISU Extension office at 755-3104.
