IGCA Announces 2024 All-State Softball Honorees

IGCA Announces 2024 All-State Softball Honorees -

(8-9-24) – High school softball, 19 area players were selected to all-state teams by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.

Three of those players, Woodbine’s Charlie Pryor in 1A, Audubon-Exira-EHK’s Riley Miller in 2A, and Atlantic’s Lila Wiederstein in 3A, were all 1st team selections.

In Class 1A, St. Albert's Kaitlynn Hendricks was a 2nd team selection while teammates Kiera Hochstein and Alexis Narmi were 3rd team and honorable mention honorees respectively. Both Kayden Schnack and Peyton Schafer of Riverside gained honorable mentions as well.

Class 2A saw Miller's teammates Jordan Porsch for 2nd team and Mattie Neilsen of Audubon for 3rd team selected. Treynor's Jayden Huisman and Delaney Matthews were 2nd team honorees. On the 3rd team in 2A were battery-mates, Brooklyn Lange and Audrie Kohl of Missouri Valley, Hayden Thomas from Tri-Center, and Mary Stephens from Underwood.

Atlantic's Riley Wood was a 2nd team selection in Class 3A while Zoey Kirchhoff was chosen for the 3rd team.
