Cyclones Qualify for Three Events at Drake Relays -

(4-25-22) – Kaia Bieker will represent the Harlan Community Girls' Track Team at the Drake Relays later this week, while five Cyclone Boys' will participate in the event.

Bieker will participate in the 8ooM run while Aiden Hall and Will Neuharth will run in the 100M dash on Friday. Neuharth will also run in the 4 x 100M Relay with Cyclone teammates Lukas Francis, Connor Frame, & Jacob Birch on Saturday.

Bieker qualified for the Drake Relays with the third best time in the state with a time of 2:17.23. Cyclone girls' track coach Jenny Hamilton was in awe of the way Bieker was able to qualify Thursday in Council Bluffs.

"She had to run this 800 all by herself," Hamilton told KNOD Sports. "To run a 2:17 when there's not even anyone beside you, that's pretty impressive."
