Bartels Steps Away from Woodbine Boys' BKB After 15 Seasons -

(3-23-26) - Woodbine boys’ basketball Coach Kyle Bartels has announced he's stepping down.

MA Radio reports they received a press release from Bartels making the announcement on Monday. Bartels said in the release that “the time and commitment required to coach at this level has grown to the point where it is more than I can balance.” He also thanked his staff, schools district, and the community for their support during his tenure.

Bartels coached Woodbine basketball for 15 seasons, accumulating a 178-167 record with eight consecutive winning seasons and reaching the Class 1A State Basketball Tournament in each of the past three years.
