Boyer Valley GBB Gets Win over TC, 47-28 -

(1-16-25) – The Bulldogs owned the boards on their way to a non-conference win Thursday.

Boyer Valley outrebounded Tri-Center 42 to 28 on their way to 47-28 victory at home.

Morgan Hast led the Bulldogs with 14 pts. She talked to KNOD Sports about how her team concentrated on getting those boards to help shut down the Trojans offense.

“We've really worked on getting. We struggled with that in the past couple of games, so we really have put in the work and it's really good not to get them second chance points. That's how we stayed in the game and kept ahead and didn't let them catch up.”

Since her outside shot wasn’t working for early, Hast decided to take a different approach.

“I wasn't having a very good game from outside the perimeter, so I decided I either have to drive it in, dish it out, or take it the hole myself and hopefully, I can get a foul called. Hopefully and one.”

Sylvia Sullivan finished a point short of a double-double, with 9pts and 11 boards, while Mariah Falkena and Jenna Mitchell each finished in double figures for Boyer Valley, who returned to .500 on the season.

Tri-Center got 9 pts each from Hayden Thomas and Quincey Schneckloth in suffering their third straight loss.
