Cyclone VB Honors Schwieso, Mueller on Senior Night -

(9-3-24) – Harlan Community Volleyball honored their seniors Thursday night in their final home game of the regular season.

Macy Mueller has been the primary setter for the Cyclones the past two seasons. The three-year varsity starter has 1088 assists in her career while gathering 467 digs and 142 kills. She says she’s really enjoyed the playing with this year’s squad.

“I've been playing varsity for quite a few years now, and every year it's a different team. But I have to say that this year it's been the most fun. Personally, I think, you know, whether it's in practice and we have a lot of fun and we can translate it games.”

Aubrey Schwieso also has spent three years on the varsity level, starting 75 matches and accumulating 307 kills and 62 blocks in her career. She agrees that it’s been fun being part of this group of teammates and coaches over the years.

“It's always fun. Our coaches care a lot about us, so it's always fun. So to be able to know that we're working for them in practice and then our team, it's always easy when you have good girls to work around just to work for them, get wins for them, work hard for them. Win or lose, I mean, it's always a good night spending time with people that we love.”
