Cyclones Reisz Will Play Football for South Dakota State This Fall -

(2-5-25) – After lots of thought, it was discovered being a Jackrabbit was in his blood.

Harlan Community’s Jozef Reisz signed his letter of intent on Wednesday to play football for South Dakota State next season. Reisz talked to KNOD Sport about the main reason for his decision.

“It just came down to academics. I plan to major in ag business and they have a really ag business program at South Dakota State and tradition and cultural is unmatched.”

Reisz added that he wanted to be a part of the Jackrabbit’s championship tradition.

“In 2022-2023, they won the FCS National Title and they've been elite for however many years and they’re only growing their tradition.”

Reisz was 1000-yd receiver for the Cyclones last season with 11 TD receptions at the tight end and wide receiver positions. For his career, Reisz had 83 catches for 1471yds & 14 TD’s. Defensively as a linebacker and defensive lineman, Reisz had 79 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 3 interceptions, and a fumble recovery in his career, while being part of Harlan Community’s State Championship team in 2022.
