Despite Short Numbers Ar-We-Va FB Has Leaders to Succeed –

(8-22-25) – There may not be many of them, but their hard work and accountability have made them strong.

Ar-We-Va Coach Austin Stoelk feels the leadership returning to his team this year will be important to their success.

“We have low numbers and we had some guys that were kind of getting a little bit bogged down. But you know through good leadership and in good conditioning up all the way through last summer, our guys were you know able to make the second round of the playoffs (last season).”

The Rockets were 6-3 a season ago and played Lenox to an opening round playoff loss.

Wyatt Ragaller had over 1600 all-purpose yards and 25 touchdowns for the Rockets last season. Stoelk knows having the leadership and talent of Ragaller for another season will benefit his team.

“He’s a great football player and better yet, he's got the drive, he's got the spunk he wants to win football games on every single rep that he takes his and it's kind of what makes him unique from a lot of good athletes.”

Ar-We-Va will begin their season against Boyer Valley Friday.
