Eagles Boys’ Fly Highest at Home Relay, Griswold 2nd -

The Underwood Eagle Relays boys meet took place Thursday with the host team earning the victory with 129 ½ pts.

The Eagles got victories Ryker Adair in the shot put, Sam Hulsing in the 110M hurdles, Tayden Hull in the 400M hurdles, and took the shuttle hurdle relay.

Logan-Magnolia’s William Anderson won the 100M and 200M. He talked to KNOD Sports about improvements he’s made to be even more successful in those events this year.

“If you look at my races from last year, they kind of delayed until I would take the lead. So, it’s just about coming out of the blocks and getting a lead early and then running all the way through.”

Anderson’s effort led the Panthers to a 4th place finish. Brodie Davis also got a win for Logan-Magnolia in the 400M

IKM-Manning finished 3rd overall, Tri-Center was 5th, Boyer Valley 6th, and Missouri Valley 7th.

Tri-Center got wins from Carter Kunze in the long jump, Haven Weers in the 1600M, and took the 4x200M.

IKM-Manning took the 4x800M with the team of Ben Ramsey, Wyatt Danner, Camden Morris, & Kasche Huehn.

Boyer Valley got a win from Dane Gorham in the 800M and Levi Reineke, Owen Garside, Justin Heiman, & Gorham in the Distance Medley.
