Great Mentors Help Guide New D-S Coach Baughman -

(8-27-24) – Harlan Community alum and new Denison-Schleswig Coach Willie Baughman says he’s been privileged to learn under two great coaches in the Monarch’s Dave Wiebers and the Cyclones Curt Bladt.

“Last year was a great opportunity for me to see how Coach Wiebers ran things and kind of get Denison back to where they were in the 90s and the early 2000s, and so it was an awesome experience. I obviously went to Harlan and I got to see Coach Bladt firsthand and it reminded me a lot of him, in all honesty. So that was good experience for me.”
