Hamilton’s 8 Threes Lead St. Albert Boys’ over Boyer Valley, 76-49 -

(2-17-25) - With several starters out for the Falcons, it was a young freshman who rose up… and took his shot.

Cooper Hamilton was the star of the show, leading St. Albert with 36 pts in their 76-49 win over Boyer Valley.

Hamilton had eight 3-ptrs, five in the 2nd quarter, as he helped the Falcons take a 14-point lead into the midgame break. The hot shooting continued as St. Albert started the 2nd half on an 11-0 run to build up a 25-pt lead.

Knowing ahead of time that St. Albert would be without several key starters, Hamilton said he felt the bond between the players the grew during practices up to the game helped them overcome their loss of starters.

“Our team, we just bonded like, really well. We had a lot of starters out for today's game and I think the practice’s leading up to this game, just like bonded of us together and we came out move the ball really well and just learn how to play with the people that we had and took advantage of what we had.”

The Falcons also got 14 pts from fellow freshman Colt Spencer and will play Logan-Magnolia on Thursday night.

Michael Davis led the Bulldogs with 15 pts while Brody Koski and Tristen Burkhart each had 12 pts. They finish their season 6-17.
