Hawkeye Ten Approves Membership Changes for 2026-27 Sports Year -

(3-7-26) - Changes are officially coming to the Hawkeye Ten next sports season.

A press release over the weekend states the conference has approved the following membership changes: Lewis Central will leave the conference for the Missouri River Conference, Shenandoah and Red Oak will depart for the Western Iowa Conference, and Carroll will join the Hawkeye Ten after being a member of the Raccoon River Conference.

Conference officials note these moves reflect ongoing efforts to maintain competitive balance, manage travel considerations, and position schools in conferences that best fit their enrollment and geographic needs.
