Hit Parade Leads Tri-Center BB to Win Over Mo Valley, 11-1 -

(6-20-25) – The hitting for the Trojans was pure gold Friday.

Adan Goldapp went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI as Tri-Center rolled over Missouri Valley, 11-1 in 6 innings. The Trojans had 11 hits in the contest.

Goldapp’s Baltimore chop over the 3rd baseman’s head in the first to drive in Tristen Gunderson set the tone for the evening as timely hitting allowed them to jump out to a 7-1 lead after 3 innings.

Goldapp talked about his approach at the plate in his first at bat.

“That's what I'm supposed to do. I'm supposed to fake the bunt and then pull down the third baseline cause (the 3rd baseman) is coming in. So, it went over his head and scored a couple runs.”

Tyler Weidner came into the game in the 5th after an injury and got his first two varsity hits, a triple in the 5th and double that brought in the game-winner by run-rule in the 6th. Weidner talked about finally getting the opportunity to bat.

“I was pretty excited, you know. Coach (Max Kozeal) gave me the opportunity and I executed. Gotta do what you gotta do.”

Cael Witt went 4 innings and gave up just one run on 2 hits while throwing just 44 pitches for his 6th victory of the season. Tri-Center improves to 10-3 on the year.

Owen Beccera tripled and scored for Missouri Valley in the loss as they fall to 4-11 on the season.
