IGCA Announces All-District Softball Teams -

(7-22-22) - The Iowa Girls Coaches Association announced that Harlan Community’s Tianna Kasperbauer was named to the Class 3A West All-District Team on Thursday.

Kasperbauer was senior leader for the Cyclones this past season going 11 and 11 on the mound with a 3.23 ERA and tying for the team lead with a .348 batting average.

Class 1A’s Southwest District saw 11 players from the KNOD-listening named to the team including 4 from Exira-EHK. The Spartans Andrea Schwery was also named Coach of the Year.

In Class 2A, Logan-Magnolia Coach Rick McHugh was named Coach of the Year in the Southwest District with three of his players who reached the Class 2A State Tournament this year being named to the team. A total of seven athletes from the KNOD-listening were named the IGCA’s Class 2A Southwest District team.
