IWL Announces 2022 All-Star Teams

IWL Announces 2022 All-Star Teams -

(8-3-22) - The Iowa Western League announced their All-Star teams Tuesday and Harlan Community baseball coach Heath Stein was among those chosen representing Portsmouth.

Players from the 7-team league were choosen and split into American League and National League squads, meaning some teammates will now play against each other. Omaha lead all the teams with 7 selections while Walnut, Persia, Neola, and Massena all had 6.

The IWL All-Star Game will be held on Wednesday, August 10th, in Portsmouth, with a Home Run Derby starting the festivities off at 6:00p.
