Lo-Ma Tops IKM-Manning in Regular Season Finale Behind Vana’s 4 TD’s -

(10-18-24) – Wes Vana put on a show in his regular season finale.

Vana had 239 yards total offense and 4 TD’s in Logan-Magnolia’s 42-28 win over IKM-Manning Friday night. Vana, who used various formations, including shovel passes and the wildcat to pick up yardage, likes being part of the action.

“Our lines been blocking great recently and making holes for me and I just like running it. I like having the ball in my hands more.”

It was a concept offensively that the Panthers had been working on recently.

“These past three weeks, we've been trying to get me more involved in the offense and that's what we did here.”

Now that his team is in the postseason again, they just want to keep the momentum going in the right direction.

“We're used to making postseason here in this program, so we're trying to just keep it winning and get another win in the postseason and just keep rolling.”
