Panthers Pounce on AHSTW for Basketball DH Sweep -

(1-3-25) – The Panthers are on the prowl in 2025.

Brodie Davis was doing it all, scoring 15 points, dishing out 5 assists and had that block that led Logan-Magnolia to a 63-49 victory over AHSTW. Davis says the transition game can really fire up his team.

“It's a really good motivation of getting a steal and getting that ball up. Especially, when we get it to Wes (Vana) and he can throw down a dunk. It gets the whole team going and that just takes the motivation throughout the game.”

The Panthers were led by Wes Vana who had 24 points and 9 boards. Luke Sternberg led the Vikings with 17 points.

In the girls’ contest, Brooklyn Lally had 14 points as Logan-Magnolia used a 12-1 first quarter run to defeat AHSTW 39 to 27. Lally talked with KNOD Sports about the importance of the win.

“It felt pretty good. Coming in, it was a pretty tough matchup. All our girls, we were prepped and ready and honestly, it just felt like a great win to start off our year.”

Allysen Johnsen added 10 points for the Panthers. Bella Lamp led the Lady Vikes with 8 points.
