Special Season Could Be In Store for IKM-Manning FB -

(8-29-24) – Youthful talent has been pushing IKM-Manning football and they feel they can now make an impact in their district this season.

Wolves Coach Cory McCarville talked about the success of tailback Ben Langel last season.

“Ben is a very good athlete. Ben is a very aggressive runner. I think, really, what you know, I've been most impressed with Ben over the years that he's got really good vision, he's got really good instincts and a lot of good feel for hitting the holes and want to be patient. I think, he does a great job for us and what we're trying to do in offense and you know, I think he's improved himself over this last year and we're hoping from a big year from him.”

McCarville is also looking forward to a host of good young players on defense, such as Jace Starman and Davis Rasmussen.

“Jace did a great job for us. He played some defensive end and he played some defensive tackle. Jace, I think, his best attribute is he's extremely versatile and I'd say the same with Davis Rasmussen, too. You know, Davis at times plays safety plays outside linebacker. He plays corner you know we move them all over the field he's extremely strong. He's extremely quick and when you're strong and quick and aggressive, like Davis is, you're usually a pretty good defensive football player.”
