LC In, Underwood Leapfrogs KC in Latest IHSAA Boys' BB Poll -

(1-29-24) -  The Iowa High School Athletic Association has added a new KNOD-area team to their latest boys' basketball poll.

Lewis Central has cracked the Top-10 in Class 3A with an 11-3 record. That has the Titans good enough for 10th in the rankings.

In Class 2A, Underwood leaped over Kuemper Catholic to 4th while the Knights fell to 6th, down two spots from a week ago. Treynor, remains at No. 8 for the third week in a row.

Each classification features a top 10 consensus-built list as compiled by its assigned committee, which includes two former head coaches, one media member, and three IHSAA staff members. The IHSAA will use the regular season rankings as a primary tool for postseason assignments, while maintaining school and geographic considerations.
