Funeral services for 77 year old James (Jim) Michael Tinker of Audubon will be held on Friday, May 22nd, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Audubon beginning at 10:30am with a private interment at the Maple Grove Cemetery. Jim passed away on Monday, May 18th, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, in Omaha, NE. Public visitation will be from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, May 21st, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Audubon and a luncheon will be held following the service at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church's Fellowship Hall. The Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Audubon is in charge of the arrangements.

Funeral Services for 63 year old Greg Becker of Avoca will be held Friday, May 22nd, at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca starting at 11am with burial in the Graceland Cemetery in Avoca,  Greg passed away Saturday, May 16th, at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.  Survivors include his wife Terri Jo; his sons, Corey Becker and wife Frances of Washington DC, Jordan Becker and friend Nathan Kirkman of Avoca and Taylor Becker and wife Isabella of Deerfield, IL; 2 brothers, Darren Becker and wife Paula of Harlan; and Steven Becker and wife Angie of Johnston; 3 grandchildren and one on the way. Visitation will be held from 5pm  to 7pm with a rosary at 7pm on Thursday, May 21st, at the Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca where they are in charge of the arrangements.

Memorial Services for 80 year old Joleen Bandow of Minden will be held Saturday, May 23rd, at the Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca beginning at 11am.  Joleen passed away May 13th at her home.  Survivors include her husband Bud, 2 daughters, Jeana Bandow of Minden and Lisa Bandow and friend Dave Stoebele of Council Bluffs; siblings: Roger Justice of Bentonville, AR, Wayne Justice and wife Arlene of Manning and Joann Bengford of Defiance; and 2 grandchildren.  The family will greet friends 10am to 11am on Saturday, May 23rd, at the Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca where they are in charge of the arrangements.

Mass of Christian Burial for 102 year old Elizabeth Dunn of Harlan will be held Tuesday, May 26th, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Harlan beginning at 10:30am with burial in the Harlan Cemetery.  Elizabeth passed away on February 24th at Elm Crest Retirement Community in Harlan.  Survivors include her children, Cindy Piegzik and husband John of Albuquerque, NM, Connie VanDercreek and husband John of Great Lakes, IL, John Dunn and wife Paijit of Koh Chang, Thailand, Lloyd Dun of Prague, Czech Republic, David Dunn and wife Liz of Ashland, OR and Roger Dunn of Non Khai, Thailand; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Marie Ritter of Claremont, CA.  Visitation will be held from 2pm to 4pm on Monday, May 25th, at Heartland Funeral Home in Harlan where they are in charge of the arrangements.

Memorial Services for 100 year old Jacquelyn Jean Lewis of Harlan will be held Tuesday, May 26th, at the Congregational United Church of Christ and United Methodist Church at 19th and Durant in Harlan beginning at 11am with burial at the Harlan Cemetery.  Jacquelyn passed away Wednesday, May 6th at her home.  Survivors include her children:  Rebecca Wiinanen of Dehaven, MN, Jeffrey Lewis of Chicago and Connie Larson and husband Eric of Pine Island, MN; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services for 79 year old Sally Irene Nairn of Harlan will be held Monday, June 1st, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Harlan beginning at 10 am with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery in Pierson.  Sally passed away  May 19th, at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.  Survivors include her daughters Andrea Miller and husband Shannon of Harlan and Megan Fuhs and husband Jake of Shelby; 1 son, Ryan Wheatley of Spirit Lake; 5 grandchildren; 1 brother-in-law, Mark Thraen of Earling and 1 sister-in-law, Diana Nairn of Pierson.  Visitation will be held 9 to 10 am, Monday, June 1st at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Harlan.  The Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan  is in charge of the arrangements.
