Graveside Services for 76 year old Judy A Paulsen of Denison, formerly of Atlantic will be held 11 am, Wednesday, September 18th, at the Atlantic Cemetery. Judy passed away Saturday, September 14th, at the Eventide Lutheran Home in Denison. Survivors include her daughters, Marissa “Missy” Lamaak and her husband Doug and Jennifer “Jen” Schwenke and husband Jason; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Toby passed away Wednesday, September 4th, in Chatsworth, CA. Survivors include his parents, Steven and Kathy Mathies of Deloit; wife, Vicky of Chatsworth, CA; five daughters, Andrea Williams and fiancé Kendall of Lincoln, NE, Kennedy Donaldson and partner Rigo of Bakersfield, CA, Samantha, Katherine and Deliha Mathies, all of Chatsworth, CA; 1 son, Toby Mathies of Chatsworth, CA; 1 grandson, 1 sister, Stephanie Nelson and husband Bradley of Lincoln, NE. Funeral Services for 78 year old Geraldine Jean “Geri” O’Dell of Council Bluffs, formerly of Griswold and Atlantic, will be held 11 am, Wednesday, September 18th at the Griswold Central Church of Christ with burial in the Flint Cemetery. Geri passed away Saturday, September 14th at the Hansen House in Council Bluffs. Survivors include her son, Shannon O’Dell and his wife Debora of Griswold; brothers, Larry and Ken Hilliard and sisters, Ramona Sellers and Verna Hilliard-Evans. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral Services at the Griswold Central Church of Christ. The Rieken Duhn Funeral Home in Griswold is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorial Services for 85 year old Chuck Duncan of Denison will be held 11 am, Friday, September 20th, at Zion Lutheran Church in Denison. Chuck passed away September 4th at his cabin in Minnesota. Survivors include his wife Roxana; his son, Greg Duncan and wife Karen; his daughters, Jeanne Scott and husband Bart, Susan Robak and husband Kurt and Jill Hoover all of Lincoln, NE, and Julie Babb and husband Scott of Nampa, ID; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; his mother, Ruby, brother David and friend Marcia Kracht, sister, Barbara Lueck and husband Kenneth and sister-in-law, Sharon Duncan. Pete passed away Sunday, September 15th in Omaha.
